Does running around trying to find something to wear for the whole family stress you out? If you answered YES well, I am the photographer for you. In this blog post, I will give a few tips to help you get great photos.  

I can’t give all my tips away as they are all saved for my clients who book with me but I will give away 3 tips today to help you out.

Tip 1

In the summertime, warm pinks, and yellows look beautiful, as do cool sky blues, mints, and aqua. See the picture below for an example.

Tip 2

Wear outfits that complement each other rather than matching outfits. You don’t want to distract from the individuals’ personalities in the photos and look too staged.

Tip 3

Don’t wear busy patterns or logos that may distract from the focus of the photo, which is your family.

I have been taking family photos for 8 years now and I understand the importance of wearing the proper attire for a photo session. So please ensure that you educate yourself or talk with your photographer about attire before showing up for your photo session.
